A special edition of Walk the Futures in Innsbruck for people who work or live in Innsbruck, are curious about possible futures, and who find it easier to do this work in English than in German (perhaps you are still learning...)
Join us for a guided Walkshop (walk+workshop) through Innsbruck and experience four possible climate futures.
Using stories and multi-sensory artefacts, we’ll step into the year 2056, taste locally grown produce (and maybe wine!), smell the scents of the Altstadt, and read tomorrow’s headlines.
Expect a city walk, time to think, good conversation, a shared meal, a creative workshop, and perhaps a different perspective on what comes next.
No prior knowledge is needed. Just bring your curiosity.
Why are we inviting English speakers to participate? What do they have to do with the "futures of Innsbruck"?
Thanks to the university, clinic, and local businesses, Innsbruck has many international residents. What we do and how think has an impact on the future we're shaping. We want to make sure that all voices are heard in this Walkshop, including the voices of people who are still getting confident in the German language. You are part of this story, too.
