Homs no imma nix gmocht
Traurige Berühmtheit erlangt die syrische Stadt Homs durch die Angriffe der Regierungstruppen auf die von ihnen eingekesselte Millionenstadt. In unseren Breiten verwenden wir den Dialektausdruck "Homs" - auch meistens negativ belastet - dafür, jemanden anderen Verantwortung oder gar Schuld dafür zuzuweisen, was man selbst nicht machen kann oder will. Z.B. "Homs no nit Schnee gramt" oder "Homs imma no nit repariert!" oder auch "Homs nit dron gedocht!" Offensichtlich ist HOMS eine nicht näher...
