She and the Junkies @ 7*stern / !! Letzter Gig vor der Europa-Tournee !!

Junk Rock!? Das ist also die Schublade, in die „She and the Junkies“ gesteckt werden wollen. Tatsächlich ist diese drängende, dräuende Mixtur aus Glam-, Glitter-, Psychedelic- und Retro-Elementen samt androgynem Image schwer in Worte zu fassen. Sie fügt sich aber gut in eine Zeit, wo sowohl heimische Bands als auch eine Armada an internationalen Rock-Formationen in diese Kerbe schlagen. Es wird kaum ein süffiges Riff ausgelassen - und schon gar kein historisches Zitat und ästhetisches Klischee....
