Based on a true story, this is a film about the remarkable alliance between Welsh miners and London lesbians and gay men, during the troubled times of the summer of 1984 in Thatcher's Britain.
After deciding to collect money to help the striking miners in Wales, the London lesbian and gay group have a problem - the miners won't accept it.
So they pick a small Welsh mining town at random and set off in their old van to personally deliver the cash.
"PRIDE" is a tour de force of British acting talent with excellent character development and with British humour lightening the drama wonderfully.
