26. Internationales Filmfestival Innsbruck
The IFFI opens the Screen for the lesser-known places of the world. We show around 65 feature-length films and short-films (Features and Documentaries) from Latin America, Africa, Central Asia and Eastern Europe. The IFFI is next to the Viennale, Diagonale and Crossing Europe the most important cinematic event in Austria and the only one in West Austria.
FESTIVALPROGRAMM*
FESTIVALPROGRAM*
We are delighted to announce that the Oscar winner Jiří Menzel will be present at the 26th edition of the International Filmfestival Innsbruck. Besides an extensive portrait of the Czech film director, the festival program includes a hommage to the Iranian filmmaker Abbas Kiarostami and local highlights, such as the Tyrolean film “Home Is Here“ by Tereza Kotyk. For the first time, a selection committee of distinct filmexperts is to program the fiction and the documentary competition.
